Buffalo County is famous for “Monster Bucks” because the area produces more record book bucks per square mile than anywhere in the world.
Positioned in Western Wisconsin within the Driftless Area, Buffalo County features many extreme topographical features. The area was virtually left untouched by glaciers, leaving an abundance of natural mineral deposits and high reaching bluffs that cascade above river beds. The combination of natural abundance with the tough terrain have made the area second to none in the world for trophy worthy whitetail bucks.
